George Frederick died on a cold Christmas Day 2015 of untreated “hospital-acquired infections” (autopsy).

Who Killed Georgie?

Chapter 2 — Georgie’s “‘12 Days of Christmas’”

Georgie chats cheerfully with Elizabeth standing under a giant, sweet-smelling Magnolia that shades his eldest sister’s backyard-shrimp & crawdaddy boil. His plan, he energetically discloses, is to — after dinner — go to the hospital ED for an inhaler-refill, as symptoms of his childhood-asthma had returned following an operation four months ago.

However, feeling nearly fully-recovered, Georgie doesn’t suspect that this mega-hospital system’s local acute-care unit will want to perform a previously-scheduled blood transfusion. But, why not? he thinks, when asked. “I’ll ‘get it over with,’” he reasons, so he can arrive a few days early at the family’s annual reunion in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, coming up in 13 days…. (to be continued)

Yes, to be continued, because the next 12 days, the 12 days before Christmas, are very difficult to “revisit” — I can still hear the echo of George’s nocturnal screams of agonizing pain experienced shortly after hospital superbugs invaded his body during a blood transfusion or when a nurse spilled the contents of a urine bottle onto his lap and catheter (the most-common point of infection for urosepsis, Georgie’s cause of death; with the autopsy pointing to 3 separate “hospital-acquired” bacterium, including “Staph” & “MRSA”).

But please spare me for now; I’m just not strong enough tonight to describe the indescribable….

Meanwhile, let’s begin a record-dive into the scoundrel merchants-of-death, a mega-hospital system with the ass-ugly name “Ochsner” — and the jackleg lawyers representing them. These Big Law firms who represent Big Med in Louisiana are dipping their bloodied hands into the Med-Mal Factory’s billion-dollar cookie jar (which is supposed to help compensate citizens harmed by medical-mistakes so they don’t have to sue).

Not only are these Dalek-like “provider attorneys” stealing from orphans to pay for their own useless immorally-fat lives, they “contribute” to the fat-lives of certain State judges who play along with their many transparent abuses of court-process and judicial connivances. I’m often arguing in court papers that these scalawag attorneys, noble jurists and unwitting court clerks are “jelly-bean’ing” lawsuits away, in return for fat political-donations from the scoundrel provider-attorneys to “judicial campaign committees” (for we know judges can not personally accept money from hospitals or lawyers who represent these medical providers, wink-wink)….

The deal going down between the merchants-of-death Big-Med attorneys, the quasi-State agency charged with helping citizens file claims of medical-mistake, and certain “politically-connected” state court judges, is this: the agency in charge of the med-mal factory(called the“PCF”) pays Big-Law (politically-connected) attorneys many millions of dollars … basically, for nothing, because the “outside contracts” they are supposed to be working — are “confidential” under their own rules. Which is of no matter, as some contracts may be for legitimate work — they’re just doled out, without bid, to favorite-litigators, with no audit or accountability.

What the PCF doesn’t say (but knows very well) is that these law firms that are contracted-out to “defend” the billion-dollar cookie jar intended to help pay medical-mistake claims, place millions of dollars into the political campaigns of crooked judges who do the medical-providers’ dirty-work. The PCF agency knows this, it’s in plain sight every day some court paperwork comes in “dismissing” Big-Med providers from perfectly legitimate citizen-claims of medical-harm. That’s even though the Louisiana Supreme Court ruled a PCF-claim “is not a suit.”

The fix is in, and has been for decades, folk. But, hey, let’s just see if the pen is mightier than the swords of injustice, right? (:

For example, let’s look at the Big-Law firm of “Jones-Walker,” the lawyers who are trying to protect Ochsner from allegations it killed Georgie — charges of medical-harm and, actually, illegal euthanasia if not murder(that story is so creepy, I’ll have to relay it sooner than later here). I compare them to the lawyers who attempted to defend RJR in Louisiana’s “tobacco litigation” (which I worked on as a paralegal for the Big Law firm heading the suit) — literally merchants of death, they are. I believe I even accepted a job in their CBD high-rise office; but immediately quit upon learning their strategy to “win” asbestosis cases was to wait until the now-elderly (and heir-less) victims died. Then they threw an office party….

The document below, obtained through a FOIA request to the PCF, shows Jones-Walker was paid nearly $800,000 over a five-year period ending 2016 (I’m sure they’ve made the millionaires club by now, don’t you think?) I have uncovered documents showing some judicial political donations by this merchant-of-death, but I’m mostly trying to track down direct quid pro quo between this firm and State Judge William Morvant, a Republican jurist who kisses the medical-providers’ butts when turned — and who is up for reelection in 2020. I’ve already drafted a letter to the judicial ethics committee regarding this “Who Killed Georgie” case and those complicit.

So let’s get started with the something-for-something or quid pro quo, where judges get money from law firms to oil the squeaky wheels of court-process. For example, the lawyers attempting to defend Georgie’s murder have stolen nearly $800,000 from the People’s Claim Fund (PCF) just in the last few years. I’m tracking-down how much “Jones-Walker” paid-off judges (directly and through “legal” means such as judicial campaign committees). Legal, illegal campaign contributions, it doesn’t matter. What’s important is the fact these judges — for instance Judge William Morvant of 19th JDC — believe they are beholden to Big Law and the big boys (and girls) operating the 45-year-old med-mal factory….

In only 5 years the Big Law firm Jones Walker dipped its bloody hands into $800,00 of the “Patient’s Fund”

Here’s the other firm names, and the amount of money they were paid by the people in charge of the medical-malpractice factory’s “Patient’s Compensation Fund” just between 2012–2016. I requested PCF to update my FOIA request, as I began working on this as a news story three years ago:

“Outside Contracts” to Lawyers by People’s Compensation Fund, 2012–2016:

Well, again I ran out of time (paw-paw duties call). Let’s match-up these Big-Law firms and their political contributions to judicial campaigns next, OK? To be continued…
